These whiskies are adorned with humorous puns presented in cultish comic-book style labels: the purpose is to tell the histories and stories of distilleries or prominent figures in the industry but in a new exciting way. This Highland #2 19 Year Old is part of their Cinema Labels collection, with the label being a riff on 'The Highlander' movie poster. It was matured for 19 years in a single hogshead cask.

Zesty layers of lime and sour apple sweeties, kiwi, and green melon, with creamy oak and a touch of flinty minerality. Lots of green fruit: Sour apples, green melon, fresh limes, green banana, sharp Kiwi fruit.
Palate
The sour apple and citrus carries through from the nose, joined by oily oak and warming root ginger. A hint of flint, a little waxy paraffin, sour apple sweets, candied lemon peel, a little olive oil, black pepper, and fresh ginger.
Finish
Pepper arrives for a drying, spicy finish. The long spicy finish is very drying.
