The Highland Park 1976 Orcadian Vintage Series is a rare and limited edition 35-year-old single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1976 and bottled in 2011. It was crafted from a combination of 13 refill butt and hogshead American oak casks, hand-selected by Whisky Maker Max McFarlane. This expression is part of the Orcadian Vintage Series and is known for its light and fruity flavor profile with aromatic peat smoke. Only 893 bottles were released worldwide, presented in a bespoke black glass bottle and an oak box adorned with Viking imagery.

Palate
Very floral, reminiscent of heather fields, marzipan and coconut, ending in honey coated almond, with tropical fruits and floral honey, and aromatic peat smoke.
Finish
Lingering notion of balance between wood and cream, smooth violet softens the finish, with dry and long floral notes.
