Description

Highland Park 17 Years Old The Light is a special release single malt Scotch whisky, part of a two-part series (The Dark & The Light) celebrating the Orkney climate and seasons. This expression, aged for 17 years, was created to celebrate warm summer days in Orkney. It was matured in refill American oak casks, resulting in a bright and fruity spirit with notes of caramelised pear, nutmeg, vanilla, cedar wood, and light peat smoke. The whisky is presented in a beautifully embossed green glass bottle featuring a serpent-dragon design inspired by Norse sagas, and comes with a bespoke oak frame and booklet. It is bottled at 52.9% ABV and is non-chill filtered. This limited edition release had an outturn of 28,000 bottles globally.
