Hinch 5 Year Old Double Wood is a premium blended Irish whiskey, comprising 20% single malt and 80% single grain. It is matured for a minimum of 4 years in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, followed by an additional year of finishing in virgin American oak casks. This 'double wood' maturation process adds depth of flavor and character, resulting in a smooth and creamy whiskey with distinct citrus fruit, spice, and mocha notes.
