Description

Hinomaru Whisky is produced by the Kiuchi Distillery in Ibaraki Prefecture, North East of Tokyo. Kiuchi Distillery dates back to 1823 as it was initially set up as a Sake and Shochu producer. In recent years they have expanded their production to include Craft Beers and Whisky. This Hinomaru Signature 1823 is a single malt Japanese whisky, distilled and aged entirely in Japan, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the company's founding. It is matured in a combination of bourbon, rum, and sherry casks.
