Description

Holyrood Embra is the second single malt release from Edinburgh's Holyrood distillery and their first peated whisky. It is a lightly peated expression matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks, peated Islay quarter casks, and new American oak barrels. Bottled in 2024 at 43.6% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and has no age statement. The label design is inspired by St Leonard, the patron saint of barrel-makers, and the distillery's location on St Leonard's Lane.
