Description

A powerful and idiosyncratic Dutch single grain whisky, matured for 5 years in ex-Barley Wine beer barrels. This special whisky offers a unique taste experience, in which rich malt comes together with deep, complex tones. It is a bold interpretation of Dutch whisky, made from a mash bill of 30% wheat, 30% rye, and 40% corn.

Big notes of mead, treacle, dark caramel, strong coffee, orris root, resin, and warming spices. Light vanilla, honey, and a robust, earthy, grainy base. Full and spicy with notes of dark beer, oak, and burnt sugar. [1, 2, 3, 6, 8]
