Description

A historic wine and spirits shop in Essen, Germany, originally established by Fritz Zunger in 1882. Rolf Kaspar took over the business in 1972 and it has become an important name in the German retail and independent bottling scene. Its first own-branded bottlings were released in 2012.

Nose
Lychee, guava, watermelon bubblegum, cinnamon, grassy at times, with a bit of peach and oak appearing after a bit.
Palate
Still super fruity - chock full of papayas, mangos, tangerine, and guava - turns quite peppery after awhile as the oak comes through stronger.
Finish
The fruits fade fairly fast sadly leaving oak and pepper with some subtle orange and pineapple juice.
