Nose
Rich buttery popcorn, drizzled in golden syrup, maturing into green olive vines. Floral, with sweet jasmine and rosy Turkish delight, fading to light potpourri. Powdered sugar coating fresh, fluffy doughnuts. Hints of lemon-scented polish, cedarwood and sarsaparilla. Very seedy sourdough bread and pine nuts. Maple syrup, ripe banana, and semi-sweet chocolate. Sweetened soy milk.
Palate
Creamy mouthfeel, sweetly candied, reminiscent of rainbow drops or candy corn. Clear wood influence with bursts of fresh oak and recently carved pencil shavings. Dusty florals, maple syrup with hints of roasted chestnut, prunes, and light soy sauce. Lemon- and lime-flavored hard candies. Blackberry compote and rich mocha. Luxuriously smooth and creamy, carrying flavors reminiscent of candy corn and soft sugared confections.
Finish
Lingering finish that leaves a lasting impression. Blackberry and apple turnovers, crusted with demerara sugar, some light tannin paring back the sweetness. Subtle notes of freshly carved wood and fine oak lend structure and depth, while the finish lingers with both sweetness and sophistication.
