It is initially matured in flame-charred, first-fill ex-bourbon white oak casks before undergoing a finish in juicy Calvados Garnier casks from Normandy, France. This non-chill filtered expression is bottled at 46% ABV and commemorates the year 1945, the end of President Douglas Hyde's term.
