Description

Hyde No.11 The Peat Cask 1949 Commemorative Edition is a limited release peated Irish Single Malt Whiskey from Hyde Irish Whiskey. It is triple distilled and matured for a minimum of 8 years in a combination of first-fill, flame-charred ex-bourbon casks and peat casks. Crafted from 100% malted Irish barley, which was kilned over Scottish peat, this non-chill filtered whiskey was bottled in July 2023 at 43% ABV. This edition commemorates Douglas Hyde, Ireland's first president, who died in 1949. There are 5000 bottles in this limited release.
