Description

Hyde No. 6 President's Reserve is a limited edition Irish whiskey, a blend of 18-year-old single malt and 8-year-old single grain. It is initially matured in flame-charred American Bourbon barrels and then finished for 9 months in Spanish, vintage, toasted Oloroso sherry cask butts, a process referred to as 'Double Wood'. This release is named 1938 in honour of Ireland's first President, Douglas Hyde, who was inaugurated in 1938. It is triple distilled and non-chill filtered, with a limited outturn of 5,000 bottles worldwide.
