Description

This Double Distilleries release is a vatting of malt produced from Mars Whisky's Shinshu distillery and Venture Whisky's own Chichibu distillery. The project began in April 2015 with the exchange of new make spirit, which was then matured in their respective locations. This collaboration between two renowned Japanese distilleries, Chichibu and Mars Shinshu, is considered a first of its kind in the Japanese whisky industry. The blend contains malts aged for 5+ years in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry, and American oak casks.
