Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Blended Whisky is an approachable and sophisticated core offering from Ichiro Akuto, founder of the renowned Chichibu Distillery. Affectionately dubbed the 'White Label', this expression harmoniously combines malt whisky distilled at Chichibu with carefully selected grain and malt whiskies from major whisky regions including Scotland, Ireland, Canada, and the USA. The foreign components are matured in their country of origin for 3–5 years, then shipped to the Chichibu distillery in Saitama, Japan, for an additional 1–3 years of maturation and final blending. It is bottled without coloring and non-chill-filtered, maintaining its purity and textural integrity.

Palate
Vanilla and tropical fruits, light rye spices (cinnamon and nutmeg), caramel, hazelnut, chocolate, candied ginger, chili powder, black pepper, tobacco leaf, toffee, barley malt, gingerbread, honeyed pipe tobacco leaves, roasted chestnut, freshly cut hay, creamy, kiwi, green bananas, pink peppercorns.
Finish
Medium long, honeyed sweetness, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, banana, hazelnut, ginger, puckering astringency, lemon pith, vanilla, dried tropical fruit, mild horseradish sauce, mint bonbons, white tea tannins, tang of cupra-nickel, woody and pleasant astringency.
