Description

This is an expression of Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Blended Whisky, produced for the eleventh Chichibu Whisky Matsuri festival in 2025. It is a blend created by Ichiro Akuto, founder and master distiller of Chichibu Distillery in Japan. This 'world blended whisky' combines malt and grain whiskies sourced from various countries, including the United States, Canada, Scotland, and Ireland, with Ichiro's own Japanese single malt. The whiskies are aged in their countries of origin before being brought to Chichibu for further aging and blending.

Creamy with pears, vanilla, toffee, kiwi, honey, and green bananas, developing into spicy notes of pink peppercorns, ginger, and cinnamon. Other notes include tropical fruits, light rye spices, caramel, hazelnut, chocolate, candied ginger, and tobacco leaf.
Finish
Mid-long to long with vanilla, bananas, and a hint of pink peppercorns and other spices. Also described as medium length with dried tropical fruit and uncomplicated sweetness.
