Description

This 25-year-old single malt from the Imperial Distillery, distilled in 1998 and bottled by independent bottler Cask 88 in July 2023. This limited edition release, known as 'The Bothy', is a collaboration with artist Jonathan Freemantle, featuring unique artwork on each of the 200 bottles. Matured in a refill bourbon barrel (#100916), it was released as one of only 200 bottles. The Imperial Distillery, a Speyside single malt producer, operated intermittently until its closure in 1998 and demolition in 2013, making this a rare independent bottling. The Bothy clinched three prestigious awards at the IWSC 2024, scoring 98 points in the Single Malt Scotch Whisky 16–25-Year-Old category, and winning a design award and a Trophy [6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12].
