Description

A former malt distillery in the Speyside region that sadly spent as much time in mothballs as it did distilling. It longest operational period was under ownership of the Distillers Company. It was demolished by Pernod Ricard in 2013 and Dalmunach was built on the site in its place. Perhaps one of Scotland's most important whisky companies, Gordon & MacPhail is a historic blender, independent bottler. This release is part of Gordon & MacPhail's third annual Recollection Series, featuring rare single cask whiskies from closed or long-silent Scottish distilleries, presented as 'forgotten masterpieces'.
