Description

From heritage Speyside distillery Inchgower, comes this enticing 13 year old single malt. Distilled in 2011, the whisky spent its entire aging in a single first fill oloroso sherry cask where it established deep, fruity flavor. A small batch release from independent bottler Signatory Vintage as part of their acclaimed 100 Proof Editions series. Notes of sticky date and apple crumble.

Impressive and charming, with notes of cranberries, rum raisins, apple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, dates, figs, dried nuts, sticky dates, almond tart, red berries, and soft brown sugar.
Palate
Balanced and rich, with a good mouthfeel. Juicy and strong, offering pepper, cinnamon, raisins, apple syrup, artificial cherries, roasted peanuts, toasted oak, coffee ground, dark chocolate, hazelnuts, baked apples, dark caramel, fig jam, toasted oats, oatcakes, ginger, sea salt, creme bruleé, vanilla, caramel, and citrus.
Finish
Elegant and long-lasting. Notes of cola cubes, mixed nuts, raisins, cardamom, aniseed, soft spices, toasted oak, bitter and tannic dark red fruits, dark caramel, vanilla, orange blossom, with a slightly drying and maritime aftertaste.
