Description

First founded in 2017, Global Whisky Limited are a Glasgow based independent bottler who specialise in small batch releases under their four whisky brands, these brands are The Red Cask Co, Concept 8, OLO & Auld Goonsy's. They pride themselves on selecting the very best whisky for their bottling's. All of their casks are sampled by a tasting panel of ex-distillery managers. Only when the spirit has passed rigorous tests, will it then be bottled.

Nose
A fruity nose, with lemon curd, marmalade and mango chutney leading the way, before some subtle oak spice comes through. There's a wee sherry influence there, but it's gentle.
Palate
Comes across as woodier on the palate. After a fruits and honey arrival, things turn spicy with lots of oak, some dried fruits, dark chocolate and chilli.
Finish
Drying, charcoal finish with some residual sherry.
