Nose
Obvious grain is obvious: vanilla sweetness and a bit of oak. However, I find a lot of bright fruits behind that, particularly banana and apples. Seems like that brandy maturation may have added something interesting!
Palate
Velvety sweetness upfront, but with nice banana present in there as well. It reminds me a bit of rum as well.. Then chocolate, vanilla and more banana appear, as if I'm sipping on a liquid banana split with an alcoholic kick to it. Nice!
Finish
Rum raisins, more vanilla ice cream and then the banana again. Not terribly complex, but a nice finish for sure. As often with grain whisky, the finish is rather short. Leaves a sweet sensation on the tongue.
