Description

This particular blended malt was distilled and blended in Fuefuki Yamanashi Japan, an area known mainly for its production of wine. Isawa is produced at the Mondu Shuso distillery located at the town of Isawa, in the Yamanashi Prefecture of Japan. Started in 1952, it's a well-established producer of wine but also has a long history of micro-distilling, with their first whisky produced in 1967. This blend from Monde Shuzo is a typical representative of Japanese Ji whisky. [cite: 2, 4, Scotch Whisky Auctions]
