Nose
A deep, dark and oily nose carries plenty of bitter chocolate, earthy peat and lemon juice. Prickles of white pepper rise through the dried grass, iodine and TCP that lie beneath, with touches of caramel and a metallic element also present.
Palate
Black fruit compote and salted caramel emerge through bitter herbs and drying baking spice. Toasted oak, sour citrus and golden malt add depth to a palate with a constant backdrop of clawing, ashy smoke and more metallic hints.
Finish
Buttery shortbread, winter spice and a little toffee.
