Nose
Apple wood on a charcoal fire brings a herbal, sweet smokiness through which strawberry, rhubarb and citric brightness emerge. Floral honey, fluffy Scotch pancakes and a little dark fruit emerge.
Palate
More bittersweet charred woodsmoke, lemon peel and dried pineapple initially, with sweet tobacco and green grapes developing. Barbecued bacon, hints of warm peat smoke, blackberry jam, mixed with lighter citrus notes.
Finish
Dry, smoky and lingering, with ashy, leathery, and woody touches.
