Description

Islay Mist was originally created in 1927 at Laphroaig distillery by Ian Hunter to celebrate the coming of age of the laird of Islay's son. It is a blended Scotch whisky, combining Laphroaig single malt with Highland and Speyside malts and Lowland grain whisky. This 8 Year Old expression, bottled circa 1950s by D Johnston & Co., offers a balanced peated profile, making it an approachable introduction to smoky whiskies.
