Lots of peaty smoke with sea air and ginger, apple wood on a charcoal fire bringing herbal, sweet smokiness, strawberry, rhubarb, citric brightness, floral honey, fluffy Scotch pancakes, and a little dark fruit.
Palate
The smokiness fades to reveal sweet icing sugar, rhubarb and custard sweets, earthiness, bittersweet charred woodsmoke, lemon peel, dried pineapple, sweet tobacco, and green grapes.
Finish
A peppery, herbaceous finish with a final sweetness, dry, smoky, and lingering.
