Nose
Clean, crisp peat smoke, reminiscent of a distant bonfire or a smouldering cigar, interwoven with fresh sea spray, a hint of iodine, and subtle sweetness of lemon zest and green apple. Dense peat smoke and a briny coastal character.
Palate
Mirrors the nose with a surge of briny maritime notes and an immediate burst of aromatic peat. Sweetness like vanilla fudge or lightly salted caramel contrasts the smoke, which evolves from sharp and medicinal to earthy and ashy. Toasted oak, warm caramel, vanilla, dried orchard fruit, and baking spice with a broad, oily texture.
Finish
Long, lingering, dominated by persistent, clean peat smoke and pleasant salinity. A subtle warmth develops, leaving an impression of extinguished coals, sweet liquorice, roasted nuts, and a hint of dark chocolate.
