A single 1st Fill, Ex-Heaven Hill Bourbon cask was filled on the 9th November 2018 with lightly peated spirit at the Isle of Harris distillery in the Western Hebrides. It was then matured in the Ardhasaig warehouses 1+2 on the Island until the 21st of August 2025 when it was bottled exclusively for La Maison Du Whisky's Collection Itineraires. Nose
Delicate yet deep, opening with green barley, lemon zest and soft ash. Gradually develops vanilla, liquorice, oily peat and coastal notes of seaweed, carried by rising, elegant smoke.
Palate
Smooth and balanced, with a fresh chocolatey peat wrapped in vanilla and herbal tones. Medicinal nuances (ointment, bandage) add liveliness and precision as the profile expands.
Finish
Long and serene, moving into menthol, florals, grapefruit zest, liquorice and infused herbs. A final push of maritime peat brings kelp, sea spray and a bright touch of lime.
