Description

J.G. Thomson & Co is a historic blending company originally founded back in 1709. The company was the original proprietor of the famous Vaults in Leith, now home to the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. The latter's ownership revived the J.G. Thomson name in 2017, debuting a new range of blends in 2021. This 23 Year Old Rich Blended Malt is made from 100% Speyside malts and matured in ex-bourbon, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximenez casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV, unchill filtered, and with no added color.
