Intensely concentrated caramelized sugar, dark dried fruit, charred oak, and vanilla. Hearty buckwheat honey and charred vanilla sugar, hint of nail polish remover and shoe polish, toasted pecans, stewed yellow peaches and overripe nectarines, allspice, clove, dried bay, high-toned floral notes like wild daisies and sassafras leaves.
Palate
Massively full and rich, caramel, dark cherry, deep charred oak, brown sugar, and warming cinnamon. Milder notes of ripe peach, baking spices and old vanilla pods.
Finish
Exceptionally long and warming, charred oak, caramel, and dried fruit persisting with deep spice. Layers of char, dried fruit and caramel.
