It is produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee by the Jack Daniel's Distillery, which has been owned by the Brown-Forman Corporation since 1956. This particular release is a special, limited edition black, opaque bottle of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, bottled to commemorate Mr. Daniel's 160th Birthday (1850-2010).
