Description
Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 is a sour mash Tennessee whiskey, produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and is the highest-selling American whiskey globally. It undergoes a unique charcoal mellowing process, known as the Lincoln County Process, where the freshly distilled whiskey is filtered through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal before aging in new, charred American oak barrels for at least four years. This process contributes to its signature smoothness and distinct flavor profile. The brand has been owned by the Brown-Forman Corporation since 1956.
