Description
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select is a Tennessee whiskey, first introduced in 1997, where individual barrels are hand-selected for their unique qualities. These barrels are typically aged for 4-7 years in new charred oak barrels and are often chosen from the upper floors of the distillery's rickhouses for more intense interaction with the wood. It undergoes the Lincoln County Process of charcoal mellowing. Each bottle displays the barrel number, rick number, and bottling date, and is bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV). This expression is known for its robust and individualized character, offering a step up from the standard Jack Daniel's Old No. 7.
