The Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Special Release Tanyard Hill Rye is an uncut, barrel-proof Tennessee Rye Whiskey matured in Barrel House 1 atop Tanyard Hill at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Distilled from a mash bill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley, mellowed through charcoal, and aged in new charred American white oak barrels filled in 2015, this limited edition highlights the intense temperature swings and maturation profile of the historic Tanyard Hill rickhouse.
