Description

This is the fourth release in a limited six-chapter collectible series launched for the first time in Australia, paying tribute to Jack Daniel's unique production process. Chapter 4 celebrates charcoal mellowing, the process of filtering Tennessee whiskey drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal to mellow and impart Jack Daniel's distinctive smoothness. Bottled at full proof directly from the finest single barrels located on the top floors of the Jack Daniel's barrelhouses. This is an Australian only release, limited to one per customer.

Nose
An aromatic medley of rich butterscotch pancakes, caramelised banana bread and vanilla bean, mingling effortlessly with cinnamon spice and burnt wood. Subtle barrel notes are also present.
Palate
A chorus of gooey goodness with sizzling butter, warm treacle, and plenty of milk chocolate. The heat picks up, revealing darker notes of aniseed, charred oak, dry leather, and tobacco ash. Bold and rich, with bright orange zest, pineapple, toffee apple, cookie dough, and roast almonds. Full-bodied and thick, like syrup.
Finish
Embraces vanilla bean and cinnamon spice from the nosing, with added elements of toasted oak and distant campfire that soften to a brown-sugared tail. Medium to very long, with a gentle warmth and notes of oak and smoke.
