Jack Daniel's Tennessee Tasters' Selection Barrel Proof Rye is a limited edition, experimental rye whiskey released in 2019 as part of the Tennessee Tasters' Selection series. It is bottled straight from the cask at barrel proof, reflecting the brand's Tennessee rye whiskey. This particular release, Selection #004, is made with a mash bill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley, and underwent traditional charcoal mellowing before maturation in new, charred oak barrels. It was sold exclusively at the Jack Daniel Distillery and select retailers in Tennessee.
