Description
When Rupert Patrick decided to use his great-great grandfather's name, James Eadie, in his new venture, he started by looking through old ledgers and tracking down forgotten blends. James Eadie was born near Gleneagles, establishing his brewing and bottling business in 1854. His whisky was known as 'an ancient Scotch mixture that was dispensed to a favoured few'. Reviving the old blend, Patrick used carefully selected malts and grains from renowned distilleries such as Lagavulin, Aberlour, Benrinnes, and Cambus, and bottled it at 100 Proof (57.1%). This is a limited edition small batch release of 1800 bottles, non-chill filtered and with no added colour.
