Description

Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Very Small Batch Bourbon is a unique whiskey that undergoes a distinctive maturation process. Barrels of fully-matured Kentucky bourbon are loaded onto ships and travel the world's oceans, crossing the equator multiple times and visiting various continents. The constant motion of the sea churns the whiskey, increasing its interaction with the wood of the barrel. Exposure to extreme temperature fluctuations and salty sea air hyper-ages the liquid in ways traditional rickhouses cannot, resulting in a darker, richer bourbon with complex flavors.
