Notes of crème anglaise, butterscotch, mixed dried peels and nuts, aniseed, and cereal sweetness. Also, soft, sweet nutty notes with mild oak, brown sugar, burnt caramel, and barrel char.
Palate
Full and thick with fruit, vanilla fudge, honey, and cereal sweetness. Hints of rye and cooked fruit, balanced by black pepper and barrel spice, with touches of cherry and vanilla.
Finish
Good length with a touch of toasty oak spice. Dry vanilla, white pepper, corn grain, and darker toasted oak, with mild brown sugar and little tannins.
