Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director's Cut is a limited-edition blended Scotch whisky created in collaboration with visionary Blade Runner 2049 director Denis Villeneuve and Master Blender Jim Beveridge. Released in 2017 to celebrate the film, this expression offers a darker, richer, and smokier profile than the classic Black Label, bottled at 49% ABV as a nod to the year 2049. It comes in a futuristic bottle design and was limited to 39,000 bottles worldwide.

Bold flavors of sweet toffee, spice, and subtle peat smoke. Complex layers of dried fruit, leather, and oak. Also, vanilla, lemons, strawberries, apples, oranges, saltwater taffy, Himalayan salt, allspice, black pepper, black tea, cotton candy, powdered cocoa, taro root, caramel, and date.
Finish
Smooth, lingering finish with notes of smoke, caramel, and spice. Medium length, with peat, earthy peat, gentle pepper, oak tannin, and chicory lingering pleasantly.
