Description

Johnnie Walker Black Ruby is a vibrant new blend and a permanent addition to the Johnnie Walker core range, launched globally in March 2025 after pilot activations in 2024. Crafted by Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker, it offers a fruit-forward, sweeter interpretation of the iconic Black Label, designed to be approachable and versatile for both sipping and cocktails. The blend incorporates whiskies matured in first-fill red wine casks, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, and ex-Bourbon barrels, with Roseisle malt forming its backbone. It features rich notes of raspberry jam, plums, figs, and dark berries, balanced by honeyed sweetness and a delicate, subtle hint of smoke, primarily from Caol Ila.
