Description

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal is the third in a series of special releases crafted by Master Blender Jim Beveridge, blending irreplaceable 'ghost' whiskies and other rare whiskies from the Johnnie Walker Blue Label reserves. At the heart of this limited edition lies a hidden treasure from the 'ghost' Glenury Royal distillery, which closed its doors over thirty years ago. This blend also includes whiskies from the 'ghost' distilleries of Cambus and Pittyvaich, along with rare malts and grains from Glen Elgin, Inchgower, Glenlossie, Cameronbridge, and Glenkinchie. It is presented in a distinctive square bottle with an angled label and iconic Striding Man logo.

Velvety, with vanilla, honey, rose petals, zesty orange, hazelnut, sherry, dark chocolate, creamy butterscotch, white and dark chocolate, crisp orchard fruits, candied almonds, a touch of smoke, creamy malt, banana, spiced honey, apples, pears, white peach, beeswax, sea spray, black tea, toffee, dried fruits, grain, cinnamon, oily nuts, and floral vanilla.

Rich, luxuriously long, with trademark smokiness, lingering hints of dried fruit, nuts, mocha, boot polish, oak tannins, toffee apples, waxy, nutty, baked apple, subtle herbal notes, and fruity flavors of mango, apricot, and apple.
