Rich honey and dried fruit lead, followed by waves of dark chocolate and a gentle undercurrent of smoke. Deeper investigation reveals hints of cedar and warm baking spice, with peppery and mentholated aromas and vanilla undertones.
Palate
Velvety and sweet, with toffee and vanilla giving way to roasted nuts, bitter cocoa, and brown sugar. Subtle peat smoke, espresso-like roasted coffee, and a peppery warmth emerge alongside delicate notes of leather and almond. Citrus notes of caramelized orange, kumquat and tangerine, touches of sweet biscuits, Demerara sugar, hazelnuts, dark chocolate, ginger, dried fruits and dense vanilla.
Finish
Remarkably long and smooth, with soft smoke and dried fruit lingering well after each sip. The texture remains silky throughout, closing with faint cola sweetness and cedar wood, with a gently smoky and warming sensation.
