Fragrant with notes of oak, crisp spice, dried fruit, pastries, berry fruits, aniseed, cedar, and a touch of citrus. It also presents sweet apples, syrup, and hints of hay and wood smoke, with vanilla fudge, caramel, and honey.
Palate
Supple and balanced with rich toffee silkiness, soft vanilla ice cream, hazelnuts, citrus fruit, and honey. There are hints of wistful smoke, chocolate, grass, malt, and a gentle wood and peat balance.
Finish
Luxuriously long and smoky, with a slight burn carrying a long honey finish and a wisp of smoke. It stays sweet and spicy, with a nice interplay between sweet and savoury, and can have notes of syrupy tinned fruits and drying, tannic wood.
