Nose
Rich, bold, and expansive. Waves of dry smoke and sweet honey, followed by dried fruits, dark chocolate, orange peel, and fresh oak spice. Hints of butterscotch, vanilla, peaches, apples, pears, and beeswax.
Palate
Full-bodied and remarkably smooth. Indulgent layers of dark caramel, toasted hazelnut, kumquat, and sweet malted barley, balanced against warming baking spices and gentle peat smoke. Notes of vanilla pudding, pears, apricots, peaches, cinnamon, Christmas pudding, cocoa, and honey.
Finish
Exceptionally long, velvety, and complex. Lingering warmth accented by soft peat smoke, sweet vanilla oak, dark cocoa, pepper, cinnamon, cloves, cedar, a bit of oak, sea salt, and ash.
