- Nose
- Subtly sweet aroma with notes of bittersweet chocolate, caramelized oranges and a touch of tobacco. Fragrant with oak, crisp spice, dried fruit, pastries, berry fruits, aniseed, hints of cedar, and citrus.
- Palate
- Roasted nuts and smoky chocolate complemented by hints of rich fruits (including pears), dates, toasted bread and delicate brown spices. Supple and balanced with toffee, hints of wistful smoke, chocolate, grass, and malt. Honey, vanilla, and subtle smoke. Hazelnuts, honey, rose petals, sherry and oranges, followed by kumquats, wispy aromatic smoke, sandalwood, tobacco, and dark chocolate.
- Finish
- Incredibly smooth, with a touch of pecan pie, milk chocolate, peppercorn and figs. Floral, oaky, good length, urged on by a plume of very well-kept, highland style smoke. Dried fruit, spice, honey. Rich and uniquely long with a satisfying finish of smoke and pepper, ending with a glorious touch of spice.
