Description

An 18-year-old 'Centenary Blend' Gold Label from Johnnie Walker, this discontinued expression was originally crafted by Sir Alexander Walker in 1920 to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the Johnnie Walker brand, founded in 1820. It is a blend of fifteen rare aged whiskies, including key contributions from Clynelish and Cardhu single malts, each aged a minimum of 18 years. This luxurious blend offers a smooth, rich character with a long, lingering finish. The expression was phased out in 2013 and replaced by the no age statement Gold Label Reserve, making sealed Centenary Blend bottles increasingly difficult to source.
