Johnnie Walker & Sons King George V is an opulent and regal blended Scotch whisky created to commemorate the granting of the Royal Warrant to John Walker & Sons by King George V on 1 January 1934. This exceptional blend is crafted using hand-selected whiskies from distilleries that were in operation during King George V's twenty-five-year reign (1910 – 1936), including precious and irreplaceable casks from the now-closed Port Ellen distillery. It is known for its complexity, depth, and elegant character.

Nose
Rich berry fruit, Christmas pudding, spice, vanilla, and caramel, with hints of stewed fruit, toffee, wood smoke, and a light earthy peat. Complex fresh apple, pears, orange, and dried fruit notes are also present, alongside dusty books, allspice, and leather.
Palate
Winter spice, oak, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, and toffee. Bittersweet dark chocolate, peanut brittle, and light smoke are complemented by figs, blackberry jam, and citrus peel. Layers of sweet fruits, dark chocolate, and roasted nuts mingle with creamy vanilla and herbal notes.
Finish
A long, lingering finish with coastal smokiness, nuts, and spices. Notes of salt caramel, biscuity malt, and a smooth, warming peatiness, with fruitiness fading to leave a sweet spice.
