Description
Johnnie Walker Red Label is one of the world's best-known blended Scotch brands, introduced in 1867 by John Walker & Sons. It is the flagship whisky property of Diageo and has been the best-selling Scotch whisky in the world since 1945. This non-age-stated blend combines up to 35 different malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland, including malts from Cardhu, Caol Ila, and Teaninich, with grain whisky from Cameronbridge Distillery. It is known for its bold, vibrant character, designed for versatility in mixed drinks, and was originally sold as 'Walker's Special Old Highland' before being renamed Red Label in 1909.
