The 2011 release delves into the effect of Wood on Whisky with packaging displaying the rich colour of oaked whisky glorified through luxurious minimalism and delicate detailing. Featured in Ian Buxton's book, 101 Legendary Whiskies You're Dying to Try But (Possibly) Never Will. One of only 504 individually numbered bottles. This limited edition blended Scotch Whisky was never on general sale, instead given as a personal gift to esteemed friends of Johnnie Walker and Diageo directors. It was matured in a combination of American and European virgin oak casks.
