This small batch single malt whisky is made from a mash of 100% malted barley. It is matured in ex-bourbon barrels, quickly finished in Slovenian oak barrels and finally in PX sherry barrels, giving it a unique taste where peated notes are balanced by the sweetness of the Slovenian oak and PX sherry.

Nose
Sweet barbecue wood smoke with a rich layer of chocolate and smoky marshmallows dusted in soot. Lighter vanilla notes and orchard fruits emerge with time. Also, a soft medicinal note, slightly going towards iodine and Hansaplast, followed by sweet malts and laurel, with a very slight hint of smoke.
Palate
Medium-bodied and delightfully dirty. Dark caramel and rich fruitiness blend with a hearty dose of soot, making it intriguingly rugged. More sweeter notes like burned sugar and molasses, and some smoke-cured ham on the back of your tongue.
Finish
Medium-long, carrying through with lightly burnt caramel and a subtle green note as it fades. Soft lingering with some peat, caramel and dried fruits.
